Ecology Typography

I wanted to create something using the art of words to express the importance of ecology and sustainability. I also wanted to use hierarchy to emphasise the meanings of some of the words and show the power behind them.

I created this piece in the shape of a clock as I wanted to convey to my audience that the meaning of my art piece does have a time limit and that time is running out. By using a bright red in the background I connoted to a bloody and painful scenario underneath all these words, showing if we don’t get something done that this will turn evil. Red can also show love and passion, so by using this colour I can show the double meaning of it as if we love the world and are passionate about it we can help her.
