For this project I was asked by my client ‘Original Source’ to come up with a new brand face for their new eco-friendly products that they wanted to target a new younger audience with. They wanted a new shampoo bottle graphic and a packaging net with all the correct information to be placed on a box net.

After researching into a younger market and Original Source’s own previous branding I found an approach that I believe would work best for them. I wanted to use simple element to emphasise modernity and youth whilst using calming and smooth colours to show that if you use original sources brand to shower, you will feel these natural, tranquil effects. I have made sure to use the brand’s original colours throughout the project to ensure that customer’s, new and old, would hopefully recognise this product straight away.

With the box I have used the same element to ensure consistency. I made the background brown to show what it could look like on the cardboard packaging that the brief suggested but this can be altered or taken off to fit the branding needs. I have filled some areas with information straight from Original Source’s website about this specific product.

I created a small but catchy slogan “Saving money and the planet” as I wanted something to represent both what this brand can do for the planet and for you. Most youthful audiences are either in education or on a low waged job and so I wanted to emphasise that this brand can also help their wallet too.This is where the project description goes.
